Setup
- Mark a 10 × 10 m square with a cone on each corner.
- One player at each cone and two at the start cone, where the ball is.
How it runs
- Pass to the player at the next cone, then run and join that cone.
- The receiver controls, passes on to the next cone and follows their pass.
- After 2 minutes, change direction so both feet get used. Add a second ball when it flows.
Coaching points
- Pass with the inside of the foot, standing foot next to the ball.
- Receiver, be on your toes and take the first touch towards the next cone.
- Call the name of the player you're passing to.
Common mistakes
- Standing flat-footed and letting the ball run under the foot.
- Forgetting to follow the pass, so one cone ends up empty.
Say it: “Pass, follow, call the name.”
Make it harder
- Two touches only, then one touch.
- Two balls at once, starting from opposite cones.
Make it easier
- Make the square 7 × 7 m.
- Stop the ball first, then pass.
