Setup
- C on the circle with the ball, WA and GA on the transverse line, WD and GD marking them.
How it runs
- On the whistle WA and GA drive; the first option is WA straight, second GA on the diagonal, third C's own drive after the pass.
- Rotate who takes the first option each repeat.
- Play on to a shot once the pass is made.
Coaching points
- Drive hard on the whistle, not before.
- Second option clears space for the first.
- C: pass to the hands, then move.
Common mistakes
- Both attackers driving the same line.
- C holding the ball waiting for a perfect option.
Say it: “Drive on the whistle.”
Make it harder
- Add a GK in the circle.
- Three seconds for the whole centre pass.
Make it easier
- Defenders start 2 m off.
- Call the option before the whistle.
