- Area

Setup
- A 20 × 15 m channel with two cone gates, 3 m wide, on the far line.
- Attacker (A1) with the ball at one end, defender (D1) in the middle.
How it runs
- A1 dribbles at D1 and steps over with one foot to fake that way.
- As D1 shifts, A1 rolls the ball across the body with the sole the other way.
- A1 accelerates past and dribbles through either gate for a point.
- D1 scores by winning the ball and passing it over the start line. Swap after five goes.
Coaching points
- Attack the defender at speed, then slow down just before the feint.
- Big step-over with the shoulder dropped: sell it.
- Sole on top of the ball for the roll, then push off the outside foot.
- Explode for the first two steps after the roll.
Common mistakes
- Feinting too far away, so the defender doesn't react.
- Feinting too close and losing the ball to a toe-poke.
- Rolling the ball too far ahead and losing control.
Say it: “Sell it, roll it, go.”
Make it harder
- D1 starts closer and is fully active.
- Only one gate counts, called by the coach as A1 starts.
Make it easier
- D1 only moves side to side on a line.
- Practise the step-over and roll against a cone first.
